Eric Schoppman – President and CEO
As Principal of Schoppman Company, Inc., Eric Schoppman is dedicated to the company’s operations, including pre-construction, project management, project field supervision, business development and accounting. He is involved in every project that is contracted with the firm.
Mr. Schoppman began his career as a structural design engineer, responsible for the design of steel and concrete commercial structures. He later went on to hold senior level management positions with major construction firms before starting Schoppman Company. Mr. Schoppman is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He holds a Certification as a Healthcare Contractor by the American Hospital Association.
Paul MacDonald – Vice President
As Vice President, Paul MacDonald is responsible for the overall management of projects currently in progress. His duties are varied and include managing pre-construction, subcontractor selection, contract preparation, negotiation of subcontracts, oversight of project change orders, submittals, and project closeout. He also acts as a mentor to Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Mr. MacDonald also coordinates with all Project Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed as scheduled. Mr. MacDonald also works in a business development capacity while working with company clients on new ventures.
With over 17 years of sales and management experience in the construction industry, Mr. MacDonald has a balanced blend of construction, marketing and management skills. Mr. MacDonald graduated from California State University with post degree studies in construction at Southern Polytecnical University.
Jean Howard – CPA, Comptroller
Jean Howard, Comptroller, has worked for Schoppman Company since 2004 and is responsible for all accounting and financial responsibilities. Mrs. Howard is extremely organized and enjoys working with different personalities and getting the job done.
Mrs. Howard received her accounting degree from the University of Tennessee and shortly after she obtained her CPA and joined the work force.
